So Claremont's book will ALSO be set in current continuity, making THREE ostensible "core" titles? Allow me to be the first to say, "WHAT THE HEL*P*?!?" I was firmly of the opinion that Marvel could have hacked the two core books back to one.

And it'll feature a "whole new team with their whole own agenda." Ooof. My Rorschach reaction: "a passel of cobbled-together Neo-style newbies (with the odd sales-boosting guest-shotter or two) who get to ride roughshod over whatever's happening plot- or continuity-wise in the other titles."

Oh, well, the road to bankruptcy is paved with the dilution of resources. Wonder if Marvel'll have a "Pick the Adjective" contest for the new book? My suggestion (which I initially thought of as a replacement description for Booth's "Unlimited"--whoo hah! the money I've been saving on THAT title! Thanks, Brett!) would be "Bottomless." As in "pit." As in, "How far can a franchise fall before it hits...?"
